Thomas Landherr Joins BEB Real Estate As CFO

BEB Real Estate (BEB), a privately held real estate and investment company, has appointed Thomas Landherr, C.P.A., C.G.M.A as chief financial officer.

Mr. Landherr will oversee financing, accounting and reporting for BEB’s operating, development and property management activities. The company has a real estate and investment portfolio of mixed-use developments, parking facilities and restaurants, totaling over $340 million in assets throughout the East Coast.

Previously, Mr. Landherr served as the chief financial officer of Corigin (formerly Coalco NY), a private New York-based holding company specializing in real estate and private equity in the New York Metropolitan area. In that capacity, he planned and executed a corporate reorganization through the mergers and acquisitions of several parent ownership chains, and centralized U.S. operations.

His prior positions include vice president and director of development accounting at Douglaston Development in Douglaston, NY; vice president and controller at Reckson Construction; and controller at Triangle Equities.

“Thomas’s wide-ranging experience with complex real estate investments, projects and developments makes him ideally suited for BEB and its growing portfolio,” says Lee J. Brodsky, BEB’s president.

“We have many significant projects underway,” adds Bert Brodsky, chairman of BEB. “Thomas’s involvement will play a critical role in their success.”

Mr. Landherr received a B.B.A. degree in accounting from Hofstra University. He is a licensed CPA in the State of New York and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the New York State Society of CPAs.

He grew up in Syosset, NY, and currently resides in Dix Hills, NY.
